How long does it take to open a practice?
Most launches take 6–12 months from decision to first patient. Credentialing is usually the longest pole, often 90–180 days per payer, so it starts early. Your proposal includes a timeline built around your target opening date.
I am still in residency. Is it too early to talk?
No. 6–12 months before graduation is the ideal time. Entity formation, credentialing and lease negotiations all take time, and starting early means you can open soon after training instead of waiting.
I am employed right now. Can you help me plan a transition?
Yes. Many clients are employed physicians. We build the launch plan around your contract’s notice period and any non-compete terms (with your attorney’s input), and sequence it so you are not without income longer than necessary.
Do you only work with primary care and urgent care?
Primary care and urgent care are our focus because that is where our clinical and operational experience is deepest. If you are in another specialty, book a call and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
What is the difference between the retainer and the full launch package?
The full launch package is a fixed-scope engagement where we handle everything from formation to first patient. The retainer is ongoing, flexible support at a monthly rate, good for physicians who are doing part of the work themselves and want an expert alongside them.
Do you work with physicians outside Alabama?
Yes. Credentialing, billing and operations work is done remotely, and state-specific licensing and compliance requirements are part of every engagement.
Will you see any of my patient information?
Our launch work is about your business, not your patients, so we do not need protected health information. If an engagement ever requires it, we sign a Business Associate Agreement first.
